Classes are held at Martha and Joshua's studio in Bethel, Maine. In general, our wheel throwing classes are offered for adults and are scheduled for the spring, late summer, fall, and winter. Each class meets once per week, two hours per class, for eight weeks. Classes are taught by either Joshua or Martha. Evening class time is 6 - 8 pm, and the studio is open from 5 - 9 pm for an hour of extra practice before and after class. Day class sessions meet from 10 am - 12 pm, and the studio is open from 9 am - 1 pm for extra practice time before and after class.
Classes are held in our community studio, which is equipped with seven pottery wheels, three electric kilns, a mixer/pugmill, slab roller, work tables, storage racks, basic tools, and a selection of studio glazes and underglazes. From time to time we also offer special topic classes, which might run for one day, one week, or longer.
